It has been said that the pen is mightier than the sword. As a writer, I have always liked the comparison, for the sword is a formidable weapon. Now with a little juggling of the letters, "sword" contains the very essence of the pen’s power: words. So there you have the meaning behind the name of my website, The Written Sword.
The Written Sword has a two-edged purpose: to promote and publicize my work as a writer, and to serve as a place of expression and encouragement to readers, writers, and explorers. Check out the site and thanks for visiting!

I am a freelance writer with numerous articles published in magazines, newspapers, and on websites. In addition, I have written several compilations of poetry and short stories, and my poetical works have been published in various magazines.
My freelance work has appeared in Heart of New Hampshire Magazine, Going Green, Outdoors in the Pikes Peak Region Magazine, the award-winning Colorado Chronicle Newspaper, and the Record Enterprise Newspaper, publications that continue to feature my work regularly.
I am attending college in hot pursuit of a writing degree. My publications list attests to my hard work and success as a valued and qualified writer.
